Hi, I'm Colleen.
The person who will be sitting at the table with your student.
I'm a certified teacher and have been teaching since 2007, in international, public, and charter schools. Over the course of my career I've worked with students across a wide range of grade levels, abilities, and learning needs — from 1st-grade intervention reading programs to high school career-readiness classes.
Those years in education equipped me to support students with both academic growth and personal confidence. I understand that every learner is different, and I believe effective tutoring should be personalized, patient, and encouraging.
Most importantly, I truly care about my students. Building strong relationships, helping students overcome challenges, and experiencing the joy of learning alongside them are some of the things I value most as an educator.
